Mission of Vallalar
Dear Seekers of Truth, Max Muller extols the Vedanta;‘Vedanta holds a most unique position among the philosophies of the world. After lifting the self or the true nature of ego, vedanta unites it with the essence of the divinity, which is absolutely pure, perfect, immortal, unchangeable and one. No philosopher not even Plato, Spinoza, Kant Hegel or Schopenhauer has reached that height of philosophic thought....none of our philosophers, not excepting Heraclitus, Plato, Kant or Hegel has ventured to erect such a spire, never frightened by storms or lightnings. Stone follows upon stone, in regular succession after once the first step has been made, after once it has been clearly seen that in the beginning there can have been but one, as there will be but one in the end, whether we call it atman or brahman.’
1.1. If the eulogy bestowed on Vedanta by Max Muller is true, then it does not stand to reason as to why Vedanta which is founded on the pillars of Vedas, progressing through the Upanishads and culminating in the Brahmasutra, should be experienced in triplication- advaita, visishtadvaita and dvaita- by the great disciples in their capacity as enlightened seers such as Sankara ,Ramanuja and Mathwa divided only by time. Therefore, it is evident that the absolute which is the essence of the divinity, which is absolutely pure, perfect, immortal, unchangeable and one has since been experienced only in relativity even by the enlightened. Why they ought to have traversed from the absolute in their philosophic sojourn into the realms of relativity? Is it because of their inexperience of the experience of the soul and the existence of the soul in its right perspective?
1.2. No wonder Saint Vallalar, the very incarnation of compassion spits fire in the following song;
“கூறுகின்ற சமயம்எலாம் மதங்கள்எலாம் பிடித்துக்
கூவுகின்றார் பலன்ஒன்றும் கொண்டறியார் வீணே
நீறுகின்றார் மண்ணாகி நாறுகின்றார் அவர்போல்
நீடுலகில் அழிந்துவிட நினைத்தேனோ நிலைமேல்

Clinging fast to all those dividing sects, all dividing religions Bidding aloud, they never know of any use, without purpose Become ashes, becoming dust of earth they stink; like them In the world of eternity, have I thought of death; above the state To ascend, for strength I aspired; you have elevated me up.
1.3. The volcanic eruption of spite against religiosity in the flames of blame which surpasses even the heat of atomic fusion going on in the sun, is not definitely unbecoming of the saintliness in Vallalar because it is also consequent to the compassion of Vallalar being showered on the souls of this world only. Still, the one morally devoted to the saint is literally taken aback and surprised at the flames of contempt gushing forth from the Saint celebrated for the milk of grace in his lips of compassion. Now, one can understand the extent of disgust with which the saint has cast aside the religions and sects which spitefully nurture destructive causes with malicious intentions so as to breed disruptive forces to destabilize the sheltering amity and unity knit in the beehive of humanity of this world.
2. Edicts of Eternity:
2.1. Let us turn another leaf of Thiruvarutpa. Just as the born blind is pained for the first time on receipt of light, so also one is struck by the uncanny resolution of the saint. The only one song out of the songs of more than 6000 written by saint Vallalar, which proclaims the mission of Vallalar on this earth and lays bare the irrefutable evidence as to why Vallalar has been brought into this world and as to why Vallalar has been conferred with immortality and as to the reality behind the truthful path of pristine equality (sanmarkkam), is enshrined as song No.27 in Natarajapathi Malai of the Sixth Thirumurai. Even the Saint’s prayer for all the souls of the world in the Great Sermon made on 22nd October 1873 at Mettukuppam pales into lesser significance before the categorical assertion of the Saint in this song as to his great Mission ordained by the Almighty on this earth. Even though the message springs forth from Vallalar, it is actually a decree to the divine will of the Almighty walking in the name and form of Vallalar and not Vallalar was not singled out from the spiritual icons of the day as His Son but created as a cosmic seed in an immaculate conception and planted in the womb of a mother, to accomplish His noble mission on this earth.

In this great world of sectarian, of religious morals all Haunted, possessed of monsters; as the psychotic Play of retarded children, ignorant souls innumerable Dismembered within differences all, there and here Espoused to death in wars without purpose; from now on Before such of rusting into further disuse, promptly Proclaim to them the holiest pristine path of truth Lead them to realisation of the truth of everything Execute the method to attain the summit of bliss, Because you are my Son; therefore, Accomplish this mission; so implanted in my mind, Be thoughtful of nothing else, so said my Master… 2.2. Vallalar leaves an unmistakable message that the most heinous crime in this world is waging a war where innumerable innocent lives of both sexes in all ages are exploded into smithereens of flesh, dismembered, mutilated and laid to untimely rest for no fault of them. War has ever been experienced as the most colossal event which with its lethal weapons has shredded the very right of the souls to their integrated unity. The crimes of war and the consequential economic destabilisation after the war have caused immeasurable sufferings to the people already living in deplorable conditions. It would not be an exaggeration if it is said that not even a single revolution of the earth around its axis counted as a day, is passed without drenching the crust of earth with human blood in the name of religion somewhere by someone.
2.3. The words of pertinence chosen to convey the edicts of the eternal benefactor which seek to secure meaningful peace for the humanity and the noble mission that flows from the most graceful Almighty to the most compassionate Vallalar to elevate the souls wallowing in inexplicable suffering around this world from the bottomless perdition of intolerable hate percolating down to the descendants of each other, are unparalleled throughout the spiritual history of this world. We are blessed to have Vallalar as the executor of the will of the Almighty to retrieve the humanity from the cobweb of religious delusions. Can anyone cite a lone instance where any saint hitherto treaded on the earth has ever been seized of the catastrophic consequences of the wars waged in the name of religion as the sole cause for disintegration of the unity of the souls which have caused cataclysmic havoc in this world? It is in this sense, the right to integration of souls as preached by Vallalar assumes greater significance as the fundamental basis of sanmarkkam and as the only panacea to secure peace on this earth . 2.4. It is within the knowledge of everyone that the edifice of the United Nations, the icon of peace created to protect the nations against the onslaught of mindless aggressions and massacres, falters in its mission crippled by its own members. The declaration of Vallalar in this song is the most potential and meaningful than any or all of the contents of all the political constitutions and manifestoes of the countries. The soul pitted against the evil of aggressive confrontation of one against another, is thankful to the great grace to have singled out war as the sole cause for all the ills of humanity and religions as the foster mother of all forms of disputes. This is actually the practicality in the spirituality of Vallalar. None of the spiritual traditions in the world has ever focussed its attention on the disintegration of the unity of souls and degeneration of human dignity by the ferocious wars fought for inscrutable machination of manipulative intentions. It is abundantly clear that the animal instinct is still alive in the most civilized humanity supposed to be resting at the pinnacle of evolution much to the dismay of Charles Darwin and contrary to very spirit of survival of the fittest within the same species as propounded in his theory of evolution.
3. What is Religion?
3.1. Oxford Advance Learner’s dictionary defines religion as a belief in the existence of god or gods and the activities that are connected with the worship of them. Vallalar declares that religions and sects as different systems of faith based on the belief in the existence of a particular god or gods which have divided humanity by a grand canyon of hate against one another and caused greater destruction of precious lives. The wars are being fought as if they are the crusades between gods themselves to determine the supreme, the mightiest of all of them. Religions are like different time zones on this earth. Just as there could be no universal time which could be applied to the globe simultaneously, so also there could neither be a universal religion. It is like expecting the humanity of the world of different races and culture to speak in one language. If religion could integrate the souls, then the cause of right to integration of the souls would be without any purpose. Nature is diverse on the physical and nature is united on the spirit. That is why Vallalar has declared that the truth of nature in the life of great bliss lies in the experience of the soul.

3.2. The integration of souls is dismembered by the religions which pave the way for unnatural hatred and animosity to take away the life of another. The one striving to extinguish the flame of life in the name of religion, race and creed could never appreciate the light of soul. The genocide let loose in the concentration camps in the name of religion to erase an entire race of Jews by Nazism, the political ideology of Hitler from the face of earth is the most devastating factor of religiosity against the civilization of the humanity. It makes it abundantly manifest that the political master of the state who is a silent icon of the religion actually propels the policy of the state in accordance with his chosen ideologies. The political ideologies are actually are nothing but camouflaged religious dogmas in essence as exhibited by Hitler in the Second World War. Living under the gloom of mutual destruction in the name of religion, humanity themselves have become an endangered species under the mushrooming clouds of nuclear holocaust now cradled by the world in the name of deterrence. This is what Vallalar has foreseen and fostered a path for spiritual freedom a century and a quarter before when nations were fighting for their independence.
4. Why God has chosen Vallalar?
4.1. Why Vallalar alone ought to have been saddled with the noble mission of God? The question is answered by God Himself through the words of Vallalar.
சுதந்தரமதான துலகில்
வன்பெலாம் நீக்கி நல்வழியெலாம் ஆக்கி மெய்
வாழ்வெலாம் பெற்றுமிகவும்
மன்னுயிர் எலாம் களித் திட நினைத்தனை உன்றன்
மன நினைப்பின்படிக்கே
அன்ப நீ பெறுக உலவாது நீடூழி விளை
யாடுக அருட்சோதியாம்
ஆட்சிதந்தோம் உனைக் கைவிடோம் கைவிடோம்
ஆணைநம் ஆணைஎன்றே

In this world of freedom unbounded Averting disputes all, paving path of good Attaining life of truthful wisdom, more of You were thoughtful of bliss of beings all; In accordance with the wishes of your mind My dear, you shall have it; rooted in eternity Play your part; the glory of glowing Reign we bless you with; never shall we forsake, never It is our decree, our decree, so said Blissfully declaring divine words, within me Merging, aligned to be resident, my master.
4.2. It is evident from the foregoing that the immortality attained by Vallalar is studded with a cosmic purpose and therefore it is unique in all respects. Immortality attained by Vallalar is not to be equated to a mere spiritual feat of the soul in its progress towards spiritual enlightenment but it is a simple spiritual blessing conferred by the creator on the created. It is history that such a bounteous blessing is being shared by the recipient saint in all sincerity with all his fellow human beings. Therefore, there is a cosmic purpose that Vallalar ought to be kept alive for eternity to guide the souls congregating to infinity without crossing swords yearning for the taste of warm blood in the on-going existence on the right path towards absolute peace. 4.3. The Almighty has set Vallalar at liberty to execute anything as the Saint deemed fit in this world to translate the intention of the Almighty and implement the same on the face of this earth by the grace of the graceful glory. When the Almighty Himself had been available to the Saint in all relationship, was it mandatory for the Saint to be in the counsels of the masters anywhere in this world?
5. Bondage of Jesus Christ
5.1. The freedom placed at the disposal of Vallalar can be juxtaposed against the bondage of Jesus Christ who was withdrawn by crucifixion and redrawn by resurrection to fulfil the predestined mission of glorifying the Almighty who was to sacrifice of His only son for the sake of humanity. There are three different versions recorded by four prophets in the Bible as to the end of Jesus on the cross.
St Mark 15: 34 of the New Testament at the time of crucifixion throws light on the following; And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani’? -which means,” My God, my God, why have you forsaken me’?
St luke 23;34 of the New Testament reads “Father forgive them for they know not what they do”.
St John 20;28 I thirst.
St John 20:30
When Jesus therefore, had received the vinegar, he said ; It is finished and bowed his head and gave up his ghost.
5.2. While the gospels of St Mathew and St Mark witnessed the cry of Jesus in the last hours, only the gospel of St Luke proclaims the statement of forgiveness from the lips of agonized Jesus whose compassion is conditioned by his own suffering for the persons responsible for crucifixion. St John was satified with the thirst of Jesus satiated by vinegar and Jesus said it was finished. The cry of Jesus proclaimed a sense of abandonment which petrified the heart of persons witnessing the end of Jesus nailed to the cross. It is pertinent to note that Jesus was succumbing to the predestination of his life which had been so ordained on this earth to glorify the Almighty who inturn was determined to sacrifice His only son as a mark of His grace to the fallen humanity.
5.3. Jesus was a sacrificial goat whose holy blood was shed in the capacity of the son of god to purify the humanity. Whenever an event was fulfilled, it was immediately correlated to the prophecy already made by the Prophets divided by time, thereby lending assurance to the predestination of the events and the life of Jesus to fulfill the prophecy of the prophets in a spiritual scenario.
St Matthew 27:35, And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots; that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, they parted my garments among them and upon my vesture did they cast lots
5.4. When these persons for whom forgiveness was prayed for by Jesus had been pressed into service as instruments of predetermined destiny to bring about the fall of Jesus, the sense of compassion rampant in the plea of Jesus manifests the fatique of the soul rather than compassion. In the court of justice Philate washed his hands against the sin of subjecting Jesus to crucifixion as per the wishes of the relgious persons. Judas betrayed Jesus in the garden and Peter denied Jesus thrice before the cock crew thrice. The soldiers played their part of lot as to fit the grand finale of the divine drama. Therefore, how there can be any compassion in these lines “Father forgive them for they know not what they do” ? 6. The resurgence of Vallalar
6.1. There was always a distance between missions of god and the son in the Bible. In the case of vallalar, there is no separation for the saint from god to fulfil the purpose of his existence. What would have been the answer of Vallalar, the Samurai of Sanmarkkam to the Almighty? Could any of the lines written by Vallalar in the Thiruvarutpa in its entirety have been more appropriate than the following so as to qualify for an answer by the compassionate Vallalar?

Morals of Vedas and morals of agamas with commentaries Extolling morals, edicts of destiny in the epics in entirety Preaching of perpetrations, laid bare with motives ulterior Foundations as they are, founded within me as ought to be I am enlightened to the core, time to pass without any use Within me, without any shade of thought, with me you interact, Evil ever to be uprooted, unleash the mightiest of all miracles.
6.2. It has become customary to write commentaries to drive home more explicitly the ideas and principles embedded in the spiritual treatises. Just as the 12 sutras of Sivagnana Bodham of Saiva Siddantham, so also the twelve sutras of Mandukya Upanishad of the Vedanta are rated as the highest among the spiritual ideals. In the case of Mandukya Upanishad, Govinda, the guru of Adhi Sankara wrote the karika and Adhi Sankara wrote a commentary both on the karika of his guru and on the Upanishad. In the same way the commentaries were written on Brahmasutra by the enlightened seers. But we see in Thiruvarutpa that god Himself has become the commentator of the vedas and how He has exposed the ills of the treatises to His first son and disciple Vallalar and how Vallalar in turn has conveyed it to the lesser mortals truthfully without spicing it with any falsity or exaggeration. It is evident from the following lines;

கூட்டமும்அக் கூட்டத்தே கூவுகின்ற கலையும்
கள்ளமுறும் அக்கலைகள் காட்டியபல் கதியும்

பிள்ளைவிளை யாட்டெனநன் கறிவித்திங் கெனையே
பிள்ளைஎனக் கொண்டுபிள்ளைப் பெயரிட்ட பதியே

7. At the disposal of Vallalar
7.1. What have been subject at the disposal of Vallalar to accomplish the mission of God?

7.2. When Vallalar’s immortality has been authorised by the Almighty, it does not stand to reason as to why the souls following the path of Vallalar, should choose to prostrate before any human master waddling in mortality to know the art of immortality?
7.3. In which school Vallalar has learnt the art of cosmic operation and who was his guru? Vallalar has been led through not only a theorising education but a practical knowledge imparted by none other than god himself and that is why we see the operation of authority in Vallalar’s words. The very schematic design of the cosmic existence as such has been explained by the Almighty to Vallalar. Such a kind of unequivocal relationship between god and any master has never been witnessed much less experienced in any other religion or sects. Meyyarul viyappu

7.4. Vallalar asserts that energy sprouts from god and from energy, the nucleus and from nucleus, the part and from that springs atom whose combination leads to Nature, Light, Colour and Form which altogether constitutes Manifestation as a whole. The elementary particles are the fundamental constituents of all the matter in the universe. How Vallalar was able to scan the layers of existence at the micro level without any scientific knowledge and sophisticated instruments? It is pertinent to note that Vallalar has not only identified the fundamental constituents of the physical world but also delineated the forces interacting between such elementary particles 100 years before. While Science was struggling with the discovery of the constituents of atoms and the interacting forces therein, Vallalar was able to name them all and connect all these to one singularity, god as the fountainhead of all.
7.5. Now the scientists are gloating over Higgs’ Boson as God’s particle. The scientific facts referred to in Thiruvadi Perumai are not a hypothetical conception of a researcher but are consequent to revelation of such facts having been revealed to a spiritualist by the Almighty. It is here that the evolution of cosmic evolution and existence as spelt out in the scientific songs of Thiruvadi Perumai assume greater significance; and that is why, the masters of science till date not only lag behind vallalar in their scientific strides but also have lost their veracity before Vallalar. 8.1. Now another question is raised as to whether the words of Vallalar could be considered as the words of God?

9. The Greatest Commandment as per Christ- St Mark 11.28-29
9.1. There was a pointed question asked to Jesus Christ. “Of all the commandments, which is the most important” ? The most important one’ answered Jesus, is this; O Ishrael, the Lord our God, the Lord is one, Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength’. The second is this; “Love your neighbour as youself,. There is no commandment greater than these”. According to St Matthew 22;40 “On these commandments hang all the law and the prophets”. This is the compassion of christ.
9.2. Jesus has descended to this world to transform the commandments of god declared through Moses from the physical to the mental plane. Thou shall not commit adultery. Even if you look at someone with lust, then there is committed adultery. Vallalar raises the mental plane to the soul plane. In the case of vallalar, the integration of the souls lead the souls to purge them of such thoughts and they become incapable of committing such acts against others. Therefore, what the world requires is not the forgiveness of the god but the realisation of the souls as to why they should love their neighbours. Forgiveness leads to perpetuation of the act forgiving in the mind of the forgiven. In the case of Vallalar, the souls are reminded of their integrated state in the realm of spirit before their embodiment. The souls are reminded of their freedom to create their own future after their birth in this world.
9.3. Just the atom of gold or for that reason any element listed in the perodic table is segregated into its components –proton, neutron, electron etc then such particles which make up the atoms, could not be further recognized as the sub atomic particle of gold. In the same way, at the soul state prior to their embodiment at the lap of the almighty there is no differences between the souls. All the differences are consequent to the circumstances after embodiment. It is in this sense that the teaching of vallalar, the experience of the soul which is the truth of nature is the life of great excellence assumes importance.
9.4. But the mission of vallalar is different. There is no chosen country or chosen people in the case of Vallalar. He speaks on behalf of all the souls in the world and he is concerned about all the beings. Thiruvartpa is not meant for the greater souls. It is for all the souls. Every soul has been kept on par with others. Vallalar has not reserved any song for the most realised and any song for the lesser realised. Every soul understands the message in its own capacity to do so. Withered crops whenever seen Withered me too, within me.
No Saint other than Vallalar has exhibited such an elevated spirituality in the oneness of all beings in this universe. By designing and constructing the Sathya Gnana Sabai, Vallalar has erased all the architectures of the religious worshipping from the face of the earth. The inner meaning of the conception and design outreaches the Mayan, pyramids of Egypt.
10. Vallalar and Compassion
10.1. Unlike in Christianity, there is no commandment of Vallalar but there is a great teaching by Vallalar dedicated to the humanity around this world in the following lines; “The experience of the soul, which is the truth of nature, is the life of great excellence”.
A person without the experience of the soul is not competent to know as to what is the state of compassion. The consciousness of the soul could not be raised to the state of compassion by mere yogic practises but by pure realisation of the integration of the souls at the feet of god before their embodiment. It is true that the key to heaven is the compassion of soul but the key to compassion is forged in the fire of wisdom. The key which opens the gates of heaven and the gates of wisdom are one and the same.
10.2. Only persons who realise the state of souls’ integration at the feet of god prior to their embodiment could partake in the sufferings of the humanity. There the soul melts and compassion is born. Therefore the compassion which arises on seeing the suffering of someone does not lead to the realisation of the state of souls integrated at the feet of god. How to realise the integration of the soul at the feet of god is to land in wisdom which lies in the self introspection resulting in the spiritual inquiry of the greatness of god and the smallness of the beings.
10.3. Christ gave up his life on the cross. He was resurrected by god. And there ends the mission of Jesus and from thereupon, the apostles take up propagation of the message of Jesus. The compassion of Christ, the cross carried by Christ and the bloodshed by Him everything was controlled by god. The cry of Jesus on the cross while he gave up his spirit stands as evidence. But in the case of Vallalar, he gave up his immortal body. Nothing could have destroyed his body immortalised on the anvil of time by the will of god. Vallalar has sacrificed such a body out of his own will. He has caused such a body to disintegrate into cosmic particles which are permeating all the souls not only the embodied ones but also the ones to be embodied in the future. In that sense the mission of Vallalar is unique and surpasses all the sacrifices hitherto made on the face of this earth in the name of humanity.
10.4. Jesus said, according to the gospel of St Matthew 5.17;
Think not that I have come to destroy the law of the prophets; I have not come to destroy but to fulfil.
But Vallalar has converted the cross of crucifixion into a council of an irregular octagon of immortality. (A separate article is on the anvil)
11. Valluvar behind Vallalar.
11.1. Mahatma Gandhi has said in relation to Thirukkural
"I wanted to learn Tamil, only to enable me to study Valluvar’s Thirukkural through his mother tongue itself…. There is no one who has given such treasure of wisdom like him."
Unfortunately Gandhi did not have opportunity to know Vallalar who stood not for national freedom but universal freedom of the souls and their integration. Even the Divine Poet Thiruvalluvar lags behind in the universal wisdom of Vallalar when Valluvar has chosen to glorify war in the defiance of the enemy. The chapters on the Glory of Army in 76 and the Pride of Army in 77 could never transcend time and space and therefore could hardly become universal in their expression.
12. Wisdom of Saint Ramakrishna
The sage of Daksneshwar, Sri Ramakrishna had pronounced that all religions are true; all are valid paths to God-realization. “Sincerely practised, each religion is capable of taking us to the great goal… All faiths are suited to the varying tastes, temperaments, and capacities of the individuals concerned; all are right—the only thing wrong is to believe that one’s own faith is the only true one and that it should somehow be imposed upon the rest of the world.”
13. Vivekam of Swami Vivekananda:
Swami Vivekananda declared that Religion is realization; not talk, not doctrine, nor theories, however beautiful they may be. It is being and becoming, not hearing or acknowledging; it is the whole soul becoming changed into what it believes. Religion is the manifestation of the Divinity already in man. Teach yourselves, teach everyone his real nature, call upon the sleeping soul and see how it awakes. Power will come, glory will come, goodness will come, purity will come, and everything that is excellent will come when this sleeping soul is roused to self-conscious activity.
14. Yoga of Yogananda.
14.1. Sri Yogananda went to the west in 1920 to comply with the command of Sri Babaji and the speech in Boston opened the gates of kriya yoga to the west. swami Yoganada tried to unite the teachings of Jesus with that of Babaji to catch the imagination of the west. The mission of Yogananda was to reveal the complete harmony and basic oneness of original yoga as taught by Bhagwan Krishna and original Christianity as taught by Jesus Christ.
.14.2. Babaji said to Swami Yogananda
“You are the one I have chosen to spread the message of kriya yoga in west. Long ago I met your guru Yukteswar at ‘kumb mela’; I told him then I would send you to him for training, kriya yoga, the scientific technique of god realisation, will ultimately spread in all lands and aid in harmonizing the nations through man’s personal, transcendental perception of the Infinite Father.”

கேளாமல் கேட்கின்ற கேள்வி யேசொற்
கரியவறை விடுத்துநவ நிலைக்கு மேலே
காணாமற் காண்கின்ற காட்சியே உள்

அறியாமல் அறிகின்ற அறிவே என்றும்

14.3. Vallalar has ruled against kriya yoga, the scientific technique of god realisation. Harmonization of the world is not through “man’s personal, transcendental perception of the Infinite Father” but only through soul realisation and experience of the soul.
எனதென்பதும் நினதென்பதும் இதுஎன்றுணர் தருணம்
இனம்ஒன்றது பிறிதன்றென இசைகின்றது பரமம்
தனதென்பது மனதென்பது ஜகமென்றனை சரணம்

15. Annie Besant and Vallalar:
15.1. Many of us who know about the celebrated discourse of Swamy Vivekananda are oblivious to the brilliant message delivered by Annie Besant representing the Theosophical Society in the Parliament of Religions in 1893. It is pertinent to note that she played a significant role in Indian independence. Her speech is as follows;
“Great is the philosophy which moulds the minds of men, great is the science which gives light of knowledge to the world; but greater than all is religion which teaches man his duty, which inspires man with strength to accomplish it: greatest of all is that knowledge of the human soul which makes daily service the path of progress and finds in the lowest work the steps that lead to the highest achievement”. 15.2. Even though Mrs Besant faltered on the steps of religion, she was on a firm ground when she uttered… greatest of all is that knowledge of the human soul which makes daily service the path of progress and finds in the lowest work the steps that lead to the highest achievement. She apportioned the service to humanity on three planes- physical, mental and spiritual ie on the plane of soul. When the British Parliament thundered that independence to India was to be denied as the Indians were incapable of self rule, Mrs Besant as the master mind of the Home Rule Movement in India had assisted the progress of Indian independence only because she believed in the soul state of humanity without any discrimination in the form of race or colour. She came very close to Vallalar in the integration of the souls in the context of the ruling and the ruled. 16. Where is the Law of Manu now in the age of globalization
16.1. At one stroke vallalar has dismantled the edifice of the Law of Manu in the following lines. ( 4174 ) நால்வருணம் ஆசிரமம் ஆசாரம் முதலா

16.2. Every one of us is aware that the world is moving towards cohesion. In this age of communication revolutions, all the national barriers are being removed and nations are uniting as a world which on the other hand is shrinking as a global village. The Chinese wall has lost its relevance and been reduced to a historical and archaeological monument like the pyramids of Egypt. Walls of defence have no relevance in the age of warfare with sophisticated weapon systems and reconnaissance by satellites scanning from the altitude of space strategic locations hidden within subterranean bunkers below the crust of earth. The world realises that any ecological imbalance caused on the crust of the planet is bound to affect the entire planet. Patriotism of a country is replaced by interdependence between the inhabitants if not between the countries of this world. The citizens of countries all over the world are eking their livelihood and better prospects as patriots of foreign currencies. The sense of a country is eroding fast. The sense of soul is discharged in the atmosphere of unity. This is what vallalar has foreseen a century and a quarter before in his vision.

The mission of Saint Vallalar was unique. While disparity of the Caste, Religion, Race and Language dismantled the people from oneness, Saint Ramalinga in the 19th century introduced and established a new sanmarga path for uniting all those people.

It is time; every one should know truth of the immortality and work towards oneness. The mere artificial thought and work shall not offer any significant result as union with God. Today, all the corporate meditation centres are doing mere practice like union with God by collecting huge amount of money from the disciples as to impart super consciousness through meditation. What a business they are doing now!
