The following is quoted from "Ramalinga adigal varalaru" by Thiru Ooran Adigal. This book is considered as the best researched one on the life of our Great saint Ramalinga swamigal.
" There is no proof of this statement other than his own version. The Theosophical society might have been commissioned on the orders of saints, of which Vallalar also could be one among them. This is not being disputed. If the matter has ended there, then it would have been an honour for both The society and Vallalar. However to stretch further and say that Vallalar was often referring to America and Russia was an exaggeration."
There are a few errors in the statement of Thozhuvur Velayudha Mudaliar which are pointed out in this excellent and well researched book.
The above is for the benefit of all Vallalar anbargal.
