Poomi Poojai function at Sholingar, Vellore District on

For the past 10 years,one Thiru P.Vijayan who is interested in Suddha Sanmargam and the principles of Thiru Arutprakasa Vallalar is spreading Suddha Sanmarga principles in and around Sholingar area of Vellore District. He is involving the local people and sanmarga anbargal in the regular prayers, monthly poosam functions, feeding the poor work and Thai Poosam festival in this area.
He has all along thinking to construct Thiru Arutprakasar Deiva Nilayam and Dharmasalai in this area to spread the Suddha Sanmargam principles. But without the required land and funds, he was not able to do this.
One Thiru S.Vasudevan Naidu (aged about 70 years) a devotee of Shrdi Sai Baba was constructing a Shridi Sai Baba temple in a place called Padma Nagar which is 2 kms.away from Sholingar. The construction work is nearing completion.
In the mean time, on the request of Thiru P.Vijayan, he allotted a piece of land in the same locality for the construction of Thiru Arutprakasa Vallalar Deiva Nilayam as well as Dharmasalai.
Having got the land by the grace of Vallal Peruman, Thiru P.Vijayan with the help of his co office bearers planned to do Poomi poojai and the function was fixed on 4.9.2008 (Thursday). He also approached the philanthropic minded people and the common public and sanmarga Anbargal at Sholingar and the nearby areas to assist him in this work. They also assured him their co operation and support.
As programmed the Poomi Poojai function was conducted on 4.9.2008. Arutperunjothi Agaval was chanted by from 7.45 to 9.30 a.m. Most of the public,from Sholingar and nearby areas, Sanmarga Anbargal in and around Sholingar area - participated in this prayer. Ozhugur Th Subramani, Th M.Gnanamoorthy of Sholingar, Th Venkatesan, Secretary, Thiru Arutprakasa Vallalar Deiva Nilayam,Kancheepuram and the Dhayavu Anbar from Madurai also participated in this function.
At about 9.40 a.m., in the presence of Th K. Nagaraj, I.O.C, Th A. Kalaikumar,M.A. B.Ed. B.L.,(Founder, Kalai Bharathi Kuzhumam), Th P.Ganpath Raj, santhi Electricals, Th P.Dhayalan, Th G.Ekambaram, Th.V.P.Ramamoorthy, Village Administrative Officer & Th A.L.Samy ayya, Founder A.L.Samy Kuzhumam, the poomi poojai function was conducted.
. Initially, the sand (Punitha mann) taken from Sathiya Gnana Sabhai (Temple of Wisdom), Vadalur was poured in the pit fixed for erecting the stone.
Then. Th.A.M.Velu, (former) Member of Parliament, the Proprietor, Bharathi Velu Service, Sholingar, Founder, Saraswathi Velu Engg.College, Jambuthalam, Bharathi Velu Arts and Science College, Sholingar and Th R.Narasimman, B.E., Industrialist and Real Estate Owner, Sholingar and by Thiru S.Vasudevan Naidu, erected the stone in the pit, by chanting “Arutperunjothi Arutperunjothi Thaniperungarunai Arutperunjothi”: Mahamantra.
One anbar spoke about this function and he requested the Office bearers who have undertaken this work to complete the work within one year. He also mentioned that Thiruvalargal Velu and R.Narasimhan have donated sufficient funds for this work..
For the Poomi Poojai function, Thiru P.Vijayan and his fellow Sanmargis worked very hard for the past 10 days. They are.
