Why I can not read the Tamil in my machine?
Well, there may be several factors which determines your machine's capability in displaying UNICODE font. The main reasons are either you may not have a proper font or your machine is not equiped to view UNICODE font. If you are using Windows 2000 / Win XP / Win Vista then you should be able to view our site without any problem but make sure you have a proper font.
Try the following steps one by one and see which step fixes your problem.
Step-1 Fix by copying font
We use Latha.ttf font by default. So download this Latha.ttf font to see whether it fixes your problem . Here is the font download: LATHA.TTF . Now right click on the link and select 'Save target as' and save the fonts into 'C:\WINDOWS\Fonts' directory. Now close all your browsers and reopen it and see this fixes your problem.
Step-2 Fix with Windows Install CD
Windows XP, 2003 Users
- Go to Control Panel and Select Regional and Language Options
- Now select Languages Tab
- Check the box which is circled in red
- Click Appy to install, Make sure you have Windows Installation CD ready with you. (After installation , reboot the machine)

The Last Step:- (Turning on Non-Unicode Display)
The final step is to go for non-unicode font because your machine may have older versions of IE, or Firfox or whatever reasons could be but we are there to help you. Now is the time to enable non-Unicode font display, just follow the below step to enable.
