Samadhi and nirbija samadhi [yoga has 8 limbs] - question by Charu Nivedita

Patanjali's ashtanga yoga has 8 limbs:

1.yama,
2.niyama.
3.asana.
4.pranayama,
5.pratyahara,
6.dharana,
7.dhyana ,and
8.samadhi.

Samadhi is the general term.In samadhi there are many types.The last one is called nirbijasamadhi.Bija means seed.Nirbija means seedless.Only in this type of samadhi seeds or vasanas are totally destroyed.
