If anyone's interested in a copy of one of Vallalars' speaches as recorded by Madam Blavatsky I've scanned it. Also there is her impression of him and most indians who had little faith in his message actually.

Yes, His High theme discourses went to inattentive ears. They didn’t get benefited instead had bitter disappointment that He didn’t raise the dead, as promised.

Perhaps this power does exist and has been granted with some frequency since the manifestation of Arutperunjothi in Vallalar's great invokation in the 1870s.
From the story of Lazarus in the Bible, we are used to the idea of the adept (in physical body) touching the corpse and it arises newly alive. But perhaps it doesn't occur in this way.
There are very many tales of near death experience in modern times, many of them coroborated by medical evidence that the person was clinically dead. I have never read an account of this experience wherein the individual did not meet a Divine Person of Light just prior to reentering the body. Christians often say it is Jesus. Others say it is an angel, but always it appears like a Divine Human Being. This being reviews the person and then the body begins the return, sometimes with the will of the person to reurn into the body, sometimes against that persons will.
So perhaps this power exudes from the Pranava Deha, not from the Suddha Deha. Perhaps Arutperunjothi has Graced many adepts with this power now. perhaps many of these persons meet Vallalar Himself.
I believe this awakening from death is a relatively new phenomena. Of course over the ages many mystics have described visiting spiritual worlds, but there is very little account of an ordinary person waking from apparent death.
I think such an occurrence would have been mentioned before if it had occurred as often as it does now.
Interesting that Vallalar warns not to burn the body. One ancient account of one waking from death was told by Plato. The dead soldier, Er, was about to be burned, when he awoke and told of such visions.
Such an event was so rare that Plato felt he needed to describe it in his Works. If such an occurrence was as frequent in the past, before the 20th century, why would it have not been recorded more often?

Thiru Sivapandian, Soudi Arabia informed this.
He belongs to Erode.
Enrolled himself in Erode Sanmarga sangam and studied Suddha Sanmargam.
for nearly 10 years.
He wondered, how the speech of Vallal Peruman could be ?
and wanted to hear Vallal Perumanaar's speech.
From the information given by Th. Luke Sheridan Williams of Sydney, Australia
it was learnt that the speech has been recorded and the scanned pages now
appearing in this website.
So Perumanaar's voice was not recorded.

another intrepretation is arutperumjothi will make the dead ( from previous birth) to be reborn as sanmargis and then they will acheive an immortal life.
i dont think vallalar said that he could bring anyone from death. that would be too late.
i also believe that valallar could have brought back anyone from death as he had knowledge of all the "sitthu" . but as he didnt want people to know they way he may a oil lamp burn with water, he never wanted to win the hearts of his followers (unlike many spiritual leaders today) by performing miracles. not that he couldnt.
