12th Vallalar Dharmasalai (Charity House) Function.144th Vadalur Sathiya Dharmasalai Function Day.

The Office bearers Thiru Kajana Rasu (85 years) and Thiru Karuthiah Thevar (80 years) arranged for the 12th year of Vallalar Dharmasalai-free feeding to the poor and 144th Vadalur Sathiya Dharmasalai Function day on 30.5.2010 (Sunday) at A.Kokkulam village. Sanmarga Anbargal from various Districts, viz., Trichy, Thiruthuraipoondi, Madurai attended the function.
At about 10.15 a.m. Arutperunjothi Agaval chanting started.
Thiru Arutpa Ranganathan, Madurai, Thiru Anbanandam, Yanaikal Dharmasalai, Madurai, Thiru D.Shanmugam, Vallal Peruman Oli Neri Mandram, Thiruvanaikoil, Trichy District the Managing Trustee, Vallalar Org Foundation, Narayanapuram, Madurai and some other Senior Sanmarga Anbargal attended the function.
The villagers assembled in the Mandapam in front of the Athi Sivan, Temple, A.Kokkulam and they followed the chanting of Agaval. The following Sanmarga Anbargal delivered speech on the principles of Vallal Peruman.

4. The Managing Trustee, Vallalar Org Foundation, Narayanapuram, Madurai.
Thiru Kajana Rasu also delivered speech and insisted all the villagers to follow the pirnciples of Vallalar. He thanked all the Sanmarga Anbargal who attended the function from various places.
It was told that the sincere efforts taken by one Thiru Devaraj, School Teacher, in starting this Sanmarga Sangam has developed this Sangam to this extent.
Most of the villagers are vegetarians. The legal heirs of the (Late) Thiru Devaraj also attended this function. They are:
1. Tmt. Maheswari (daughter), now residing at Madurai.
2. Thiru Pandithurai, son in law working in the Customs Department.
3. Tmt. Ariyamala, Teacher (Rtd), now residing at Madurai.
The meeting came to an end at about 12.30 p.m. All the nearby villagers took part in the funcion. Necessary feeding was supplied to all the poor families in and around A.Kokkulam village. Nearly 600 persons took part in the Poor feeding festival.
