Thiru Uthirakosamangai - Prior to the Arudra Dharshan function - on 31.12.2009

Vallalar Universal Mission Trust, Ramanathapuram-Feeding all the devotees.

Date: 31.12.2009.

Venue : Devasthanam Bungalow, North Street, Thiru Uthirakosamangai village.

On 31.12.2009, and 1.1.2010, there was the yearly function .. Arudra Dharshan at Thiru Uthirakosamangai village of Ramanathapuram District.

During this function, preliminary works such as clearing the bushes and thorny shrubbs within the Arulmigu Mangalanathasamy Temple has to be done..for easier worship of the devotees during the function time.

Usually, Vallalar Universal Mission Trust,Ramanathapuram engages its students and workers in this job for nearly 3 days.

On 31.12.2009, prior to Arudra Dharshan, the removal of Sandal from the Nataraja Statue will be done.

For worshipping on both days, the nearby villagers as well as the devotees all over Tamil Nadu will come to Thiru Uthirakosa Mangai village and Temple.

Some of them bring the meals and stay at Thiru Uthirakosamangai for one or 2 days.

Every year...nearly for the past more than 10 years, Vallalar Universal Mission Trust,Ramanathapuram undertake the work of feeding the devotees coming for this function.

This year, Thiru Rajaveer @ Pazhani and his wife Tmt. Hari Lakshmi made elaborate arrangement for this.

Irrespective of caste, creed religion, Officials, Non Officials coming over to worship Lord Nataraja on the eve of this function were fed by Vallalar Universal Mission Trust.
