24.12.2009-5TH YEAR THIRU ARUTPA MUSIC AND DANCE PROGRAMME AT CHENNAI.

Venue: No.100, Habibulla Street (North Usman Road), T.Nagar, Chennai.
On 24.12.2009 Thursday, the second day programme started at about 4.35 p.m.
Thirumathi Dr. Sivagama Sundari, Secretary, Arutpa Isai Sangam, Vadalur gave an introductory speech about the principles of Thiru Arutprakasa Vallalar and about the importance to study Thiru Arutpa by one and all.
Selvi Sri Uthra sung Thiru Arutpa hymns with her music group. She is an Engineering College Student studying 2nd year at Chennai. For the past 10 years the Thiru Arutpa songs sung by her were recorded in C.Ds. and published at Vadalur. It has created more awareness on Thiru Arutpa songs in all the areas.
At about 5.30 Kalaimamani Tmt. Geetharajan with her music group sung Thiru Arutpa Songs.upto 6.45 p.m.
Thiru Athmanathan gave a speech at 6.50 about his continued service towards this function every year. He insisted all the Musicians to sung Thiru Arutpa songs in their various programmes.
Dr. R. Santhamohan, M.S., in his speech told that Thiru Athmanathan is taking earnest and sincere steps to bring the Thiru Arutpa Isai vizha every year and thanked him for the efforts. He requested that the services of Thiru Athmanathan towards bringing Thiru Arutpa Songs and celebrating every year at Chennai will get the recognition by the Government soon.
Thiru Killivalavan, President, North Chennai District Rajarajan Cultural Trust that the services of Thiru Athmanathan should continue and thanked him.
Thiru Ganesh Vandaiyar, Industrialist, Chennai appreciated the efforts taken by Thiru Athmanathan to bring Thiru Arutpa in the State Hqrs like Chennai every year.
At about 7.20 p.m Kalai Sudarmani Tmt. A. Vadivu Devi of Tanjore gave a very wonderful dance programme with Thiru Arutpa Songs and it was appreciated by one and all.
Special guest Thiru Seerkazhi Siva Chidambaram also thanked all the participants of Music as well as Dance programme.
Tmt. Dr. Sivagamasundari, Secretary, Arutpa Isai Sangam, Vadalur invited Tmt. Kalaimamani Tmt. Geetharajan to take part in the Thiru Arutpa Isai Vizha at Vadalur every year.
The Managing Trustee, VallalarOrg Foundation, Narayanapuram, Madurai also thanked the efforts taken by Thiru Athmanathan and requested all the participants to bring more members to attend this valuable programme in the coming days. He introduced Thiru Sathish Kumar, VallalarSpace Team Member and gave a small speech about the website..www.vallalarspace.com and its functions. Thiru Senthil Maruthaiappan who is in America created this website and nowadays, each and every Sanmarga programmes wherever happens is being spread through this website and requested all the viewers to see to it.
At about 8.35 p.m. the programme came to an end. Nearly 100 Sanmargis and other common public participated and necessary food was supplied to them.
