Madurai South Rotary Club Meeting-Discourse about the principles of Vallalar.

Venue: Fortune Pandiyan Hotel Madurai.

Time : 6.15 p.m.

In the Dinamalar newspaper dt.7.11.09, a news appeared that at Fortune Pandiyan Hotel, there is a discourse

about Vallalar and his principles. Hence the Managing Trustee, VallalarOrg Foundation, Narayanapuram,

Madurai attended the above meeting voluntarily.

Thiru Shanmugam of Pasumpon, Kamuthi Taluk in Ramanathapuram District, gave a speech about Vallalar.

He said that he is the follower of the principles of Vallalar and during Thai Poosam period he attend Vadalur

every year. He was brought up under the principles by his Guru Thiru (late) Jothi Subramaniam of Madurai.

and will also propogate Vallalar's principles in the villages.

He explained in detail the life history of Thiru Arutprakasa Vallalar. As preached by him, he requested

all the rotary club members and other participants to become vegetarians.

Thiru Chockalingam from South Vasal of Madurai and his wife Tmt. Bhuvaneswari distributed the pamphlets

containing the principles of Vallalar and the booklet containing the life history and some Thiru Arutpa to all the

participants.

After that Dr. Thiru G.Swaminathan,M.S., General, Ortho, FICS,City Hospital, Madurai, the Chair person

elaborated the principles..

The Judgement given at the time of Arutpa Marutpa War..he explained very interestingly.

He further added...what Vallalar told..is to show..love to all the living beings.

Also he requested the Rotarians to become vegetarians from now onwards.

Thiru Amarnath, of Tallakulam, Secretary and Mr. Ramesh, L.I.C. Agent, Madurai, Treasurer participated

in the meeting.

Thiru K.Arumugam, L.I.C. Agent, Viswanathapuram, Madurai gave vote of thanks to all the participants.

About 25 members including local people participated in the meeting.

The meeting came to an end by about 7.10 p.m.
