Activities of PFA Coimbatore (Unit.II)

Fighting for any cause related to animal welfare
Spreading awareness against cruelty to animals.
Adoption programmes
Working with volunteers for protecting animals.against cruelty
Rescues and rehabilitations.

Future Plans.

Providing proper Shelter to rescued animals
Opening a medical center exclusively for animals
Providing 24 X 7 emergency services to animals.
Establishing a crematorium especially for animals.

Last Year achievements of PFA, Coimbatore (Unit.II).

Rescued more than 1,000 dogs and cats
Saved more than 25 horses that were left to die on road
Helped more than 700 Dogs through adoption programs
Saved more than a dozen birds including endangered species
Saved 3 Elephants from the cruelty
Saved Cattle (5 bulls 3 Cows 3 Calves)

The greatness of the nation and its moral progress can be judged by theway its animals are treated …. Mahatma Gandhi.

The above charitable trust is functioning at Coimbatore. An extent of 0.50 cents has been donated by Thiru Angappanfor the shelter of of the rescued animals. It is located at Rathinagiri Nagar (2 Kms) from Vilangurichi, Coimbatore.

Mrs. Kalpana Vasudevan narrated the ongoing programme of the trust on 1.5.2009 to the Managing Trustee, VallalarOrg Foundation, Madurai during his camp at Vilangurichi area.

Thiru Ramdas, Proprietor, Sri Ram Karthik Polymers, Saravanampatti, Coimbatore, and Dhaya Oli Iyakkam, Saravanampatti,Coimbatore, Thiru Prabakaran, Sri Amman Engg. Industries Masakkalipalayam, Coimbatore followers of the principles of Thiru Arutprakasa Vallalar, joined together and taking effective action to protect the animals in and around Coimbatore area.
