This year, Thai Poosal festival was celebrated at Vadalur from 7.2.2009
To 10.2.2009,
Foreigners from various countries visited Vadalur and Mettukkuppam
And other related places..during this year Thai Poosam Festival.

Before the Thai Poosam festival on 29.1.2009 and 30.1.2009, the following
Russians came to Vadalur for worship. They are from St.Petersburg, North
Of Moscow.

At Thiruvannamalai, there is the Sanmarga Association running by Arul Thiru Baabu
Saadhu. Under his guidance, many members are spreading the principles of Vallalar at
various villages.On his request, Thiru Kuppusamy of Salem, Sanmarga Senior
Member giving discourse at intervals. Foreign nationals coming to Ramanashram
Regularly attending the meeting conducted by Salem Kuppusamy. Having heard
The principles of Suddha Sanmargam preached by Thiru Arutprakasa Vallalar, the
Foreign nationals who came to Thiruvannamalai and who are heard the discourse

Other than those mentioned in the article as well as the above couple, there may be - .many foreigners visited Vadalur during this Thai poosam Festival. But no information about them has been received.
But from the information received from the Vallalar universal Mission Trust and from Thiru vannamalai Babu Saadhu the above article was published.
