The founder of the Orphanage Homes

The founder of the Orphanage Homes

Thiru Jothi Murugan aged 70, was born at Paramakudi in Ramnad. He is the third son of Thiru Swaminathan and Arumugathammal. He completed his education in Paramkudi Kalidoss Middle School and continued his education in Sethu Pathi High School. He has not forget the help that he got from his teacher to complete his education and finally gone to a government job.

In 1956, he started his career serving as an income tax officer at mukulathur zone where he was in charge in dispersing loans to affected people in that area by flood. Later he got the transfer to Surveying Division and he served till 1962 in the property tax planning department. Again he got the transfer to income tax department holding various positions and he became a deputy collector. After he got retired from his job, he made himself fully involved with social services such as running orphanage homes, elder care homes and spreading vallalar principles.

In 1961, he got married to ShanmugaLakshmi who is from the same city Remand. He has three sons and two daughters. All of the children are got married and now they are of their own. Now the third son Rajaveer is joined with his father to serve in the orphanage homes.

Late 1996, Thiru Jothi Murugan's wife passed away and after this, his "thoughts, talks, and doings" are dedicated to Vallalar Orphanage and spreading principles of Vallalar. Now his life is solely dedicated to serve the humanity and live for others. The thoughts of Vallalar came to him since 1960 onwards but later 1971 he was fully on to following Vallalar Principles and this happened after he got his rheumatic disease cured by Vallalar. He went to lot of doctors and took lot of medicines for the rheumatic disease but no cure at all. By the grace of Vallalar, he was cured by his power. From that point onwards, he started dedicate his whole life to Vallalar and started following Jeeva Karunya Discipline (feed food for hunger, serving humanity etc.) . In 1971, he changed his name from S.KanakaSabaPathi to Jothi Murugan. The Jothi Murugan name will have any initials and hence forth the father, mother & Guru becomes Vallalar. So he does not hold any initials in front his name now for that reason.

"Wisdom is the God" like those who say and experience would value that the "Jeeva Karunya is the way of worshipping God" as dictated by Vallalar , he started serving the humanity by getting support from Vallalar devotees and from various generous people around the world. His life aims are spreading principles of Vallalar to the world and make everybody to follow Jeeva Karunya Discipline. As part of the Jeeva Karunya effort, he is continuing to focus on feeding food to hungers, food-shelter-education to abandoned children, elder care homes. The permanent head of Vallalar Universal Mission Trust is Vallalar and he said, he will be just an instrumental worker here. Right now the Vallalar Universal Mission Trust has 6 different Orphanage homes which includes elder care also.
