At Sri Lanka, Vembirai is located near the Savakacheri Municipality (about 5 kms) within Yazhpanam District (Jaffna area).

Thiru Ketheeswaran of Alavetti (Sri Lanka) who is now in Switzerland took earnest & sincere efforts and constructed the Sathiya

Dharmasalai & Sathiya Gnana Kottam just like the one which was constructed during the period of Thiru Arutprakasa Vallalar at

Vadalur, Tamil Nadu, India..

The inauguration of Sathiya Dharmasalai took place on 23.8.2010 and the inauguration of Sathiya Gnana Kottam took place

on 5.9.2010. Sanmargis all over the world numbering around 100 participated in those inaugural functions.

For entering in the northern region (i.e.) north of Vavuniya-Jaffna area, the Sri Lankan Security/Army personnel are insisting the No

Objection Certificate issued by the Ministry of Defence, Sri Lanka. So, if any body is interested to go over to Vembirai, Savakacheri

areas of Yazhpanam, they have to apply to the Sri Lankan Govt. in the Ministry of Defence, the purpose of their visit etc.,

and satisfy them, get the No objection Certificate and then proceed to the northern (Jaffna) area crossing Vavuniya. Further

the NOC is issued for a specified period also. So those performing the journey have to come back before the time limit permitted.

The name of the check post is so called as Oomandhai. (near Vavuniya)

For the delegates who proceeded to Sri Lanka and then to Vembirai (JAFFNA) area for the above inauguration approached the

Ministry of Defence, Govt.of Sri Lanka which is located at Colombo through Thiru Chandar Venkatachalam of Malaysia in advance and

got the No objection certiificate and then only entered in the restricted area to reach Yazhpanam and then to Vembirai.

In Sri Lanka, the Army is stationed at each and every village and keeping close vigil over the area. in particular the

security check is carried out by the Army people for all the people (not only foreign nationals but also the Sri Lankan

nationals.) So, only after getting the N.O.C from the Ministry of Defence, any person will be permitted to go over crossing

Oomandhai check post.

Copy of the No objection Certificate issued to the delegates who came over to visit Vembirai area is furnished below

for the information of all. Or otherwise, the foreign natiionals are permitted to any areas freely other than the above

restricted area.

So, before proceeding to that particular Vembirai area for worshipping at Sathiya Gnana Kottam, all the Sanmargis who intended

to go over may kindly approach the authorities in the Ministry of Defence at Colomby Sri Lanka, get their proper permission

i.e. No objection certificate and then proceed to the Vembirai area.
