Improvements to Vadalur and Theenjuvai Neeroadai.

as on 17.1.2010.

The following improvements have been done to the areas in and around Sathiya Gnana Sabai (Temple of Divine Wisdom) at Vadalur.

1)    In front of the Sathiya Gnana Sabhai, the Mandapam was constructed an year back. On both the sides of the (inside) Mandapam, some construction work is going on.

2)    In front of the newly constructed Mandapm, for the convenience in seeing the Jothi Dharshan, the road has been elevated from north to south by cement plastering. . At the end of the southern portion in the above road, nearly 2 feet has been raised, so as to get a clear vision of the Jothi Dharshan even at the end of the road. So far the devotees coming to see the Jothi Dharshan felt very hardship because, of the even level of the road in front of the Sathiya Gnana Sabai. Now, by slightly elevating the road from north to south…end…without any disturbance by anybody, devotees are able to see the Jothi Dharshan. The long felt need of the devotees has been fulfilled now.

3)    On the western side to the eastern side (newly formed bathing ghat), cement road in U shape has been formed leaving a vast area for the assembly of the devotees.

Theenjuvai Neeroadai totally covered with thick wire fencing.

The sand and clay in the Theenjuvai Neeroai, near Mettukuppam has been completely unearthed. Fencing has been made covering the entire area i.e. the Odai area. The top portion also has been covered with the thin iron wires. 2 small door have been put up to enter into the Theenjuvai Neeroadai..as on date. Except these newly formed 2 small gates, no one can enter and take bath in this Theenjuvai Neerodai anywhere else..as was done hitherto.

This work has been done by Thiru Gnanananda Swamigal of Coimbatore. It took nerly Rs.12 Lakhs.to close the Theenjuvai Neeroadai by strong. wire fencing. Function has been honoured by the  Hon'ble Minister Panneer Selvam on 23.12.2009

At every 12 feet, Thiru Arutpa has been written (Agaval) and exhibited on the wire fencing.

By the side of the Small Mandapam which is already available for the change the dress the nearby place has been dug and a new Odai..has been formed so as to take bath. Now, sufficient water is available there.

Mud road leading to Dharmasalai (via) Kalpattu Iya Samadhi changed as Metal road.

On the mud road leading to Sathiya Dharmasalai (via) Kalpattu Iya Samadhi , Metal has been laid upto the end of Dharmasalai and upto the cement road newly formed in front of the Sathiya Gnana Sabai. Before the ensuing Thai Poosam Festival, 2010, it is ascertained from the reliable sources, the metal road will be changed as Tar road
