Thiru Jothimurugan, Founder of the Vallalar Universal Mission Trust used to engage himself in the above function with the students studying in the Trust..in clearing the bushes and thorny plants within the Arulmigu Mangalanathaswami Temple, Thiru Uthirakosa mangai every year.

After his period, his son and the present Trustee Thiru Rajaveer @ Pazhani and his wife Tmt. Hari Lakshmi are looking after the feeding work for the devotees coming over to Thiru Uthirakosamangai for Arudhra Dharshan festival.
