one can see here that the view of the gyana sabai is wide. this sort of structure allows a large group of devotees to view the jothi at one time. it appears that the construction of the agaval mandapam and its narrow entance has become a major obstacle to proper viewing of the jothi. this should be borne in mind when the new hall in front of the agaval mandapam is joint to the main structure. a wide open door concept is important.
i have a question? does the gyana sabai need kumba abishegam every 12 years like the normal temples?
