General Elections-Spreading of the principles of Thiru Arutprakasa Vallalar

during Lok Sabha Election campaigns.

Thiru S.C. Annamalai is a Sanmargi. His native is Pothattur pettai town of Thiruthani Taluk in Thiruvallur District. He used to visit Vadalur and the related areas very often particularly during every monthly Poosam days.. He is a follower of the principles of Suddha Sanmargam. His memory of Thiru Arutpa hymns and Thirukural is very much appreciable.

During the recent General Elections to Lok Sabha, he filed his nomination in the name of Akila India Vallalar Peravai at Arakonam Parliamentary Constituency. His intention was to spread the principles of Thiru Arutprakasa Vallalar among the public. He preferred "candle" and the symbol was allotted by the concerned Returning Officer of that Parliamentary Constituency.

Being the first time, he secured around 4,000 votes only in that area. The notice containing the principles of Thiru Arutprakasa Vallalar, distributed by him to the voters of Arakonam Parliamentary Constituency at the time of the conduct of General Elections is given below.

During the Vallalar Awareness campaign conducted at Viluppuram on 8.8.2009 and 9.8.2009, he distributed the notice.
