Conducting Awareness programme at Sri Saraswathi Balar School, Thanakkangulam, Tirunagar, Madurai.

There is a school at Thanakkangulam, Tirunagar of Madurai run by Seva Samajam. The name of the School is Sri Saraswathi Balar School. In that school nearly 85 students are studying from 1st Std to 10th Std.

It is located on the main road of Tirunagar area. The foundation stone was laid down on 9.2.1961 by the former Honourable Minister for indu Religious Thiru M.Bakthavatsalam.

The inauguration of the school building was conducted on 26.7.1963 by the former Chief Minister Sri K.Kamaraj.

About the principles of Saint Ramalingam an awareness programme was conducted at this School on 2.8.2009.

The following members from the various Sanmarga Associations conducted the meeting.

3. Thiru Kannappan, Sanmargi, Sammattipuram, Madurai.

4. Tmt. Meenambigai, W/O Kannappan, Sammattipuram, Madurai.

5. Thiru B.V.S. Mani, 186, Transport Nagar, Kariapatti Road, Madurai.

6. Thiru Pulvai Ayyanarsamy, working at Madurai Agricultural College, Madurai.

Thiru Arutpa Book (திரு அருட்பா பாராயண அகவல்) was supplied to all the Students.

All the students stood on the verandah portion of the above School.

At about 10.20 a.m, Thiru Chandramohan and all the above members chanted Arutperunjothi Agaval. All the students followed it and chanted. The prayer came to an end by 12.30 p.m.

Then Thiru A.Ramanujam, Managing Trustee VallalarOrg Foundation, Narayanapuram, Madurai briefed the life history of Saint Ramalingam.

After that he narrated the principles of Saint Ramalingam and insisted all the students to take only vegetarian food. The students replied that all of them are vegetarians and were following vegetarianism. Then he requested them to appraise this to their family members and request them to come to the path of vegetarianism. Because, following the path of vegetarianism ..only will give way to the following up of the principles of Vallalar.

The meeting came to an end at about 1.15 p.m.

Then free meals was supplied to all the students and the members of the School, sponsored by Thiru Kannappan and family.
