The Dawn of the Universe and Time as Explained by Saint Vallalar and Natural Scientists –A comparative study
According to cosmologists, the dawn of the universe started with big bang some 13.7 billion years ago (1 billion= 1000 million= 100 crores). The entire matter of the universe was condensed into a tiny cloud of gas and dust, of the size of a tennis ball, which after consecutive expansion and contractions exploded with terrific force and release of energy. This is the phenomenon of the big bang.
Very recently (2005), astronomers (NASA’s Goddard space flight centre,
An infra red camera on the Spitzer Space Telescope took images of the constellation Draco after masking out all stars and galaxies to reveal the background glow from the first stars (Population III). The cosmologists estimate that the Big Bang was 13.7 billion years ago and after some 200 million years, the population III stars were formed form cosmic particles and dust.
Scientists are of the opinion that these clusters were more than 100 times massive than the sun and hot, bright and relatively short-lived, each lasting a few million years compared to billion years of conventional stars. The objects vanished long ago but their light is still traveling across the universe.
It may also be noted that cosmology has been subjected to revised theories from time to time with advances in space telescopy and accordingly the age of the universe is estimated to be 13.7 billion years, was replaced by the new status of 6.5 billion years.
Creation of Elements
The cosmologists are of the opinion that the elements were formed inside the fiery core of stars where temperature ranged up to 100 million degree Celsius. At this temperature, atoms could not exist: the nuclear particles (protons, neutrons and electrons) were swimming around with kinetic energy of the order of 104electron volts (at ordinary temperature, the kinetic energy is of the order of 10-2 electron volt) and fusion reactions dominated.
Protons -proton fusion reactions yielded helium particles (4 He) and then followed a series of fusion reactions forming elements upto the iron group:
( unstable)
The above is known as proton –proton cycle, followed by the carbon –nitrogen cycle operating at temperature of the order of 15 million degree Celsius when all the isotopes of nitrogen and oxygen are formed liberating profuse stream of neutrons.
Next by consecutive neutron capture reactions, the iron group yield heavy elements upto bismuth. The elements beyond bismuth are unstable and radioactive.
The formulation of the elements was completed in a matter of about 30 minutes. In course of time, the stellar body underwent another explosion as a result of consecutive contractions and expansions.
The stellar body along with the elements was hurled into space in fragments at terrific speed. One such fragment gave rise to our solar system. Our solar system is a tiny part of the universe consisting of numerous stars, galaxies, and solar systems. The earth with the elements embedded in it, is only a tiny part of our solar system.
The saint Vallalar about 150 years back, by the grace of the Almighty, looked the same cosmic world by his occult skill and informed to the society that the Grace Light created the entire creature of the world and the whole galaxy within short span of time.
The Holy Arutpa says:
எண்ணில்பல் சத்தியை யெண்ணிலண்டங்களை
அண்ணுற வகுத்த அருட்பெருஞ்சோதி
அளவில் பல்சத்தரை யளவி லண்டங்களை
அளவர வகுத்த அருட்பெருஞ்சோதி
உயிர்வகை யண்ட முலப்பில வெண்ணில
அயர்வற வகுத்த அருட்பெருஞ்சோதி
In the above lines, He proclaims to the whole world that the Supreme grace Light namely Arutperum Jodhi created whole galaxy system in the cosmic world in the appropriate places.
In the same galaxy, the Supreme Grace Light also created more sub planets and more sub galaxies at the required places.
There are more galaxies in the cosmic world, in which many living beings are there, for which the Supreme grace light showers His grace to be so.
